Groundrules
(A tacit agreement between all members of the network)
1. We are tolerant of other opinions and actively seek to engage discussions with those who expressed them. 2. We treat each other with respect, because we recognize that people’s opinions are based on personal experiences. 3. We listen to each other and try to understand what others want to express. 4. We let each other finish speaking while endeavouring to keep our own contributions short and to the point. 5. We avoid generalizations and indiscriminate judgements (e.g. the Albanians/Bosnians/Croats/Serbs/Slovenians) 6. Even if the discussion makes feelings run high, we remain factual and do not resort to insulting the other speakers. 7. We make constructive criticism when we deem it important, and we gladly accept criticism directed at us.
